Default Got a question

If you drop a small bolt down the intake system can it mess your engine up if you turn it on?

DO NOT turn the engine over. Keep trying to fish the bolt out with the magnet through the intake, remove the intake if necessary, if you don't retrieve it that way pull the plugs and try a small magnet through the spark plug holes. If that fails you may need to pull the heads, but it is still better than the potential damage if you start it. Good luck.

if you can't fish it out w/mag tool or whatever, tearing it down till you find it is the only real solution.

Luckily your battery was dead...
I hope you can "fish up" the bolt.
