Default Hypertech 4052 HEI Distributor Upgrade Kit ?

I'm getting ready to give her a tune up with new plugs, wires, cap, rotor and wanted to know if the Hypertech 4052 HEI Distributor Upgrade Kit (cap, HV coil, rotor $71) from Summit would be worth it?

Engine is stock except gutted MAF, K&N air filter w/cutout housing, higher PSI injectors, adj. fuel pressure reg., Hypertech stage II chip, 180 thermo + low temp cooling switch, low restriction exhaust and no cat (sometimes

Would the higher voltage coil make much of a difference? If any?
What size/brand of wires would be best for the stock wire looms? 8mm?
NGK, Bosh or who should I go with for plugs? Vendors? Prices?

Thanks in advance! Yes, I've searched and read as usual but I'd feel better when the pros who have done this recently give me some expert input!

Tune Up: Ac Delco Stock Parts are only needed:
Not really, stock works just fine, unless you have a modded engine
8mm or 8.5mm Taylore's (will need wire looms with this size wires)
AC Delco Plugs.... anywhere (napa, Autozone)

The posts are from the pros, you've read here...

Thanks!

Platinum or standard plugs?
I've used both in the past and really didn't tell much of a difference.

I have a Hyper tech 4052 coil 53000 volt, accel module300+, taylor wires and delco plus. It feels pretty good to me, well worth 200bucks and delivey too.. I bought that rather then delco parts they where more pricey. then again i need coil cap rotor module all that crap

I have a question about my wires, I still have the stock looms because they didn't break, but the way they are routed (stock) you'd think they would get burnt up. you all know what i'm talking about? I routed them the stock way i mean the passide they pretty much lay on the valve cover.

The stock ignition is fine. I would not replace good working parts for no gain. You can just check for wear to. I use the AC Delco plug in mine, FR5LS for my year and I went with Taylor wires from Summit. I really like those wire looms in the link. I reused the stock looms and it was very time consuming!
