Default Weatherstrip

Any advice on where to buy weatherstrip and what tips you can provide on removal and installation? I have done some shopping and see great variations on price. I have an 89 coupe and looking to replace most of the weatherstrip, with the exception of the interior and exterior window strips (done already). Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!!

you will find lots of opinions on this, many swearing by gm, many stating that gm fits great but does not last. Before I bought mine, I did an archive search and my overall impression is that corvette rubber weatherstripping from Wilcox is one that many people have used and liked. I replaced the A-pillar with that and am happy with it, I also replaced the hatch with a piece from Lonestar muscle car and am happy with that.

Check a few threads up and you'll see even better news that Willcox is now offering the complete kit for $350.

Thanks for the help. I also obtained some installation tips from the corvette service manual on how much and where to put the adhesive.

It was very easy to replace the window strips. I removed the door panel, rolled the window down fully. did both sides in less than an hour.
