LT1 MAF Voltage Test
Many of you have probably read my posts where I've been crying about not being able to find the FSM for my 96 LT1, well here I go again.
My new scanner shows no MAF activity, so I'm about to try to find out why. Yea, I still can't find my 96 FSM for the Engine/Trans but I did find the FSM for my 86 Vette.
I'm thinking of using the trouble shooting procedure listed in the 86 FSM to test my 96 MAF voltages.
Does anyone know if the voltages are the same between the 86 and the 96?

Well, I tested the voltage on the MAF wires and I did get voltage readings, but I don't know if they're what they are supposed to be.
My new engine start, idles and runs fine and if it hadn't been for the fact the my new scanner showed no readings for the MAF and IAC, I would have never been concerned. No codes eithers.
I now I'm wondering if the scanner, itself, is at fault.
I'm going to return it to the company and buy another one that has CAN protocol capability (my nephew's 2003 Silverado must have CAN because my scanner won't load the protocols.)
Maybe a different scanner will give me different results. The scanner is a Pro Series U-381.
