Bob L (I like the name): The best place to get injectors cleaned is Cruzin Performance operated by Rich Jensen. However, he will not touch your injectors if they are the stock GM Multec injectors. These have a very high failure rate and are not serviceable. His email address is rich@cruzinperformance.com. If you need more info on this, send me a PM.
I agree with the above. You will need to replace your injectors. You can purchase a set of 86-88 used injectors and have them cleaned/serviced, as I did or purchase a new set. Becarful what injectors you chose. If your engine is stock or near it, you will what 22# injectors or you might run into A/F ratio problems.
Bob L: The injectors from years 86 - 88 are hard to find due to so many problems with the stock injectors. Here is a recent post from a forum member who is going to sell a set of 88 Lucas injectors. I suggest you contact him using this thread: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1751987
Thanks for the help. I heard of cruizing performance several years back but couldn't remember their website. They are supposed to be very good. This will be my fall project!!
Cruzin' Performance rebuilt the injectors in my 86'. Rich was very nice, very prompt and very easyto deal with.
This is probably routine for him, but I was surprised when I saw that he included all the old parts he replaced in a separate bag when the injectors were returned. Very classy move, it really shows you how old and brittle things had gotten.
