Fellows, I'm trying to remove the factory cell phone power cable but I can't figure out how to get the dash panels off without breaking something. Any help here is appreciated. I have an '87 also and I'm very familiar with the dash on that car but can't find the trick on my '95. Anybody?

Thanks Vis Croceus. Aftermarket Motorolla then. The power cable I need to remove disappears in the area behind the air conditioner controls & the radio so I need to remove the facia panel from around the air conditioner and radio. Once I get it off I may not need any further help. I got the upper part loose but it looks like I have to remove the entire console to free up that facia panel. Spotted the bolt under the front cup holder and also what looks like a plastic rivet that holds the lower console to the console cover. Looks a little trickier than my 87 car, but I'm up for it, hate to break plastic so I could use some direction.

There are 2 more bolts (size 9mm) under the console cover itself. That is you need to lift up the rug covering inside your console lid. You'll then be able to remove the console carefully over the shifter. THis will give you access to the radio facias and other "panels"....
Thanks Gslotman, I got it. Kind of intuitive but I just couldn't quite see it.
Turned out the wires I need to remove were routed behind the dash panel then passed under the console and plugged into a small three wire female connector concealed just in front of the console compartment. Odd, but easy to deal with. I love it when I don't break anything.
Appreciate the tip.
