Melonized Gear for Small Cap Distributor
Oops. Sorry, Carl Johansson.
The Melonized distributor gear (#10456413) for the OEM Coil-in-Cap
L98 TPI w/ roller cam turns out to have the wrong ID for use with the
External Coil small cap dist used for L98 TPI w/ roller cam in f-body apps.
Can someone confirm that #10495062 is the correct Melonized gear
for the small cap dist w/ roller cam.

Carl has a #10456413 now and the ID is too large for the f-body shaft.
I've used this p/n on an OEM '89 y-body dist.

I used the same 413 gear on the HEI distributor on my 86 Vette and also just used the same one on the oil pump drive in my newly built 96 LT1.
I don't have any experience with the 'F' body distributors, so I can't help with that.
You may be able to find out which one works on the 'F' body by logging onto Thirdgen.org or Camaroz28.com boards. Someone there may know.

HEI Distributor Gear: Melonized - Must use with OEM roller cams.
19052845 - Small Cap (.425”).
This is a hardened gear. Fits some Mallory distributors. [Old P/N 10469459]
