Default Rear control arm mounting bolts

Okay, anybody got any of them fancy nuts that go on the front of the rear control arms?? Yes, I dropped one of them down the frame through those perfectly placed holes. This is on an 86. Let me know pls. I haven't called a dealer yet, as I have had no luck getting the correct fasteners from them. I think they are the same as the lower shock retaining nut.

I did that once too, used a retractable magnet to get it back out. Almost gave up on it but got it on the last try. I mangled the thing to get it to bend the way I needed it to, but wrapped it in tape for rigidity.

Other than that, I would call Jeff Kopp (800-728-8267) and order a new one.

You're not alone - it's been a couple of years but as I recall I shaped a coat hanger wire with the profile of the nut and fished it out through the hole.

Good luck, you can get it back.
