The best is the Factory Service Manual, which is published by Helm company. Haynes & Chilton just aren't good enough.

The Helms manual is the only one you need. I think it's helms.com or check ebay.

Get one either at www.helminc.com or on ebay.

You can get good prices on the Helms manuals, too, from http://www.factoryautomanuals.com/home.php

I have a friend that ownes a service garage and has the ALL DATA that the dealers use. I am trying to figure out a way to get it all into a PDF for the C4's The problem is that it does not break ALL of the areas into a specific body style (example: All information for a C4).

Hopefully we can get this to work and I can e-copy it to somebody in the future when they need a manual. I have used it many times and it is the best manual I have seen and it is dead on accurate when chasing wiring problems.

Thanks
The key word in the question is "factory". Anybody can publish a service manual, and several do. However, there can be only one FACTORY service manual. Chevrolet farms out the job of producing THE factory service manual, to Helm Inc. Luckily, Chevy authorizes Helm to make it available to the general public.

RACE ON!!!
