84 Hood Alignment

Hello all f/ sunny west Texas, seems I've done it now. I replaced my hood release cable lastnight and cannot get my hood open now. I purchased this car last month, the front clip and hood were removed. I'm sure I have the hood out of alignment, as this is my first vette & first restore project. Any tips on opening or hood alignment would give me some place to start.

Problem solved, with welding rod thru drivers door & hole in inner fender, was able to open hood. Removed hood latches and will soon be enlisting the help of a body man.
