Default Hesitation when flooring it??

When idling in Park and you rev it fast, theres an initial hesitation? Lack of fuel??? suppose to have a new fuel pump, It does have a new fuel regulator and a new fuel filter! Lack of air? don't think so has a new K&N air filter. Any one else ever had this problem?? Thanks for any help

Mine waits a second before taking off too. I especially notice this from a rolling start. It waits... then BAM. Dont know if it should wait at all though?

Are your plugs and wires in good shape?

If your all stock (no radical cam ect.), I'd start with the throttle position sensor. check its voltage reading at idle (voltage not ohm's, I did that once :boxing )
also I recently found that there was a difference between what my voltmeter said and what the computer was seeing, my meter was off .03 volts.
so you might want to try it a little higher and lower to see what works best. that is if you don't have a laptop/software.

Other things to look for are vaccume leaks. I found some of the hose's on mine were cracked badly and leaking (at 82000miles).

coil in distributor cap might be starting to go. or sparkplug wires.

Thanks guys for the replys. Good suggestions to try! I have an idea its something simple but I just can't put my finger on it. I am also getting just a slight rough idle along with a little hard starting when hot. cranks a few extra times but still always starts. also I feel is part of it is that in the 1/4 mile, it seems to flatten out in 3 rd gear (auto) dosen't seem to pull hard at all and its keeping my MPH"s down to 95/96 rather than the normal 98/99. does that help at all?? Thanks , Don Would like to get it running right on Stock before I put in a 160 therm. and a Ed Wright chip

Check for vacum leaks. Replace some old vacum lines. How is the timing? was the timing checked correctly. IT also sounds like the fuel injectors need to be serviced. There are many different opinions on using fuel injector cleaners, but that may be a first step. I also heard alot fo good things about Cruzinperformance who test andrebuild injectors. Their service I heard is excellent, fast turnaround time, and very reasonable pricing.
