Maybe I missed something here...but why would you want to go carbed?
Not a fight, just an curiosity-inspired, innocent question.
i did an lt-1 manifold conversion, the thing pulls like a beast but lately i've been getting all these crazy error codes and the wiring harness is shot - cracked, melted all over the place. it was bad when i got the car, but it's at the point where i can't even properly diagnose the codes. i just want to drive the car and enjoy it

Welllllll....I have had nothing but problems with "Betty" when she was TPI... Didnt drive it for almost a year except ( on the back of a flatbed)back and forth to so called shops..Lots of time spent here asking and fixing and asking somemore...Throwing Money at problems that wernt going away...Finally being old skool my ownself (besides being gangsta)..I went back to what I knew...I built a pretty quick engine and had no problems...none I can't handle that is...Now some will say thats going backwards some say it's a waste of dollars..That's their opinion and there intitled to it...Theres nothing wrong with TPI..TBI..or any other type of injection systems...This is what I wanted to do and it works for me..Now I can go on to other Mods
I can send u a video of a carb setup. 84 vette with 406 sbc, megajolt ignition (ford EDIS8 ignition with controller), Demon 650, Edelbroke Vic Jun intake, GMPP Fastburn heads, Hooker headers. We threw out all the emissions and wiring harness, used an aftermarket braket for a Saginau steering pump, aftermarket bracket for Si alternator, homemade bracket for timing sensor ( timing wheel is attached to front of crank pulley). Just post your e-mail and I'll send you the vid.
