It comes as a sealed unit. you just unbolt the old one and bolt in the new one. You will need to R&R the brake parts. It is an easy job. I have done it twice so far :D
R&R can easily mean remove then replace or put it back on when done.
I dont think he meant resurface or do anything with the brakes except take the caliper off and hang it out of the way, take the bracket and rotor off and set them aside to get the bearing off then reinstall brakes parts after new bearing is on.
