Started having problem with service engine light comming on and off yesturday on my 1990. Engine would buck and surge when you got to cruise speed. I started to search for how to pull codes. Did so and got code 44 Oxygen sensor. checked sensor and found driver side one was broken. Unpluged and light stopped coming on. Read how to heat up manifold and then unscrew sensor nut. Worked like charm.Thanks to all that post. Will get new one Monday.
