My 89 vette has gotten to be insanely hard to crank lately and runs poorly when it does run. I know I have a intake leak along with a valve cover leak, but I started checking different stuff and I have good fire and good fuel pressure and flow. A couple of plugs seemed to be fouled or close to so I replaced them all. The car still acted the same so I checked the injectors out and two of them are reading a 6-7 ohms while the rest seem to be around 17. I checked earlier posts and it was said that they need to be around 16 ohms so I figure I have two bad injectors. Now I know this has been beat to death but I was wondering on what injectors to buy. I know the junked multitecs cant be rebuilt and i figure i might as well replace them all since two of them have already failed. I know people hate accel but what about there "new" injectors. How do you differentiate them from the old ones because summit has them for $269. I cant really afford a $800 set right now so what should I do? What about ford injectors? Any help will really be appreciated. Also the car is pretty much stock.

Lot of good info in the above mentioned thread. I went to injectors4u.com....Denso 22lb flow matched set to my door $212.00. Direct replacement and the car is running great. Also, alot of tools mentioned above come in handy

Enjoy the ride!

I have some NEW 22 lb injectors listed in the parts for sale section for 1989, 1990, and 1991 engines.

Checking other threads it seems that some people go with a fms injector. Im assuming they hook right up with no adapters? So a FMS-M-9593-C302 at summit will work if a got an afpr. Also I guess ill look into injectors4u because it seems no one has had any trouble with them. I know to stay away from fiveo and atleast the old accels
