Default Total New Exhaust Thought

I have an '85 4+3 70k

I have been lamenting what exhaust system to get. I have been warned this way and that way about resonance in Borlas and BBs and such. So, I have an idea:

TPIS everything. (Headers, Front Y, Cat, Rear Y, and Muffs [Flowmasters]) Add in a professional tune, AFPR, and a little porting.

This should get the extra power and keep resonance out, right?

Want to make this a touring vette with a little off the line rumble.

Opinions? Alternatives?

Duals all the way.

My LT1 has the stock exhaust system with the resonator removed and two pipes welded instead. Has a nice rumble, and wakes folks up at full throttle. Resonance???? Drone????? Nope none of it, even at steady speed on the highway.

Try the Corsa's cat back, put a set on the 91 L98 to replace the droning Dynamax's. Great sound at idle and WOT, quiet at steady cruise. And they look great.

Good Luck Polo
