Has anybody swapped their stock injectors over to 24lb inj's? My 90 has 22lb inj's, I beleive, and I want to put in some 24lb. Will they work with no problems?
I believe the 92's were a hold over with 22 lb injectors, but I'm not sure. If this is the case I can tell you that it will run just fine with 24's. I replaced mine with SVO 24's because I got a good deal on them. The computer can compensate somewhat, but not much. One size in either direction is ok, much more than that and you'll run in to trouble.
What is odd, a friend was having trouble with his car, we thought it might be his 36# injectors were sticking open. We put them in my car and it fired right up. It didn't smell like it was running rich, my A/F gauge still showed normal as well. I didn't drive it down the street because of a leaking O-ring, but it idled just fine. So either the computer can compensate more than I thought, or his 36# injectors are really 24's
Hey KYVette90 why don't you take a pic of the other side of your engine? Is it because you don't have the other valve cover polished and you want everyone to thing that the whole motor looks as good as the picture? Oh one more thing if you what to post a real 1/4 of a mile time go to the track!!!!
