spark plug gap ?

Mine is set at what stock reccomends but that seems awful close. Should I open up a bit more?

My stock gap was .035"; now that I have the HyperTech coil/cap/rotor and TPIS wires I've opened it to .045".

The correct gap depends on voltage and cylinder pressure. For a stock setup, the stock gap is best.

I agree. Stick with the stock recommendation until you upgrade the primary ignition system components.
