There is also a Courtesy Light Delay Timer Module that may have gone bad. According to the Service manual it is "behind the RH side of the multi-use center." I assume that means behind the center or right-hand side of the instrument panel. You might be able to unplug it and see if the lights go out.

If you unplug the courtesy light delay timer, the courtesy lights will not come on. The courtesy light timer is activated by the left and right door jam switches. My money is on a defective door jam switch or the wire going to the door jamb switch has its insulation cut and is shorted to ground. The door jamb switch is open circuit with the doors closed. Your courtesy lights stay on because the door jamb switch is grounded all the time or the courtesy light delay timer is defective. Unplug the delay timer and use an ohmeter to determine if pin D on the timer socket (white wire) has low resistance to ground with the doors closed. It should be open circuit and if it is, then the delay timer module is probably defective.
