Default Electrical mystery solved??????????

Well, I've been chasing a short in my 87 for some time now. For some reason my "tail light" fuse blows within hours of driving my car at night. I first checked all sockets and any wires/grounds and all looked good, until I realized my fog lights and front signal are also on this circuit.

So I found a turn signal buld with one of it's elements loose and touching the other element (its a two element bulb), could this cause a short??

I also found that the fog light bulbs were replaced with a wrong model number and the Watt's on them were 37.5 compared to the new stock ones I bought were 27 Watt's.

I haven't had a chance to go for a long ride and test to see if this will fix my fuse blowing problem. Do you think either of these could have been the cause??????????

If you have the larger fog bulbs, then the fuse should have been upgraded to a 20,,, search and theres info on this...

Then that may have been the problem, it was a 10 amp in the system. I changed backed to the stock bulbs.
