rear cargo shade removal
how do you remove the rear cargo shade on my 86 coupe? Just installed new mass backed carpet and am having difficulty with the rear carpet. The shade keeps getting in the way.

Remove the plastic trim that goes around the upper ledge over the carpet..
The shade is like a window shade, but much bigger..It is spring compressed..Once the trim is removed from the passenger side, I took a small pry bar and compressed the spring end of the shade and pulled it toward the front of the car. Once it is out you will see that it basically snaps in place into the square indentions where it came from to replace it.
