Fan switch location?
to include the irrelevant, incorrect post by 89 Bob L., when I said, "All of the above". As stated above, I admit I am not alway right. A strive to give complete, relevant, correct information. As human, sometimes I fail. I am not above admitting it, however. Why are you even IN this thread? You haven't had one word to say on the subject. You showed up shoveling manure and stinking (not a typo) your nose in other people's business. Contribute to the OP, or butt out!

I imagine as soon as the mods figure out that you are a previously banned member, you'll be down the road, until you can sneak back in again. Nice profile. Are you ashamed of something? Kobbled Vette? N.C. Kid? Vettespeed No. 9? There are so many, I just can't think of them all.
"I have been insulted by people a lot better at it than you.". I believe that, and often, too.

This very well could be wrong, but it is close enough for what the OP was asking about. On my 1996, while watching the digital temp gauge the fans kick on at 228. I have looked in my FSM and for the life of me can't find an actual temp. listed. Can someone give me a page number this is listed on in the '96 FSM?

Sorry, but unlike you, I have never been on furlough. Top of Utah?

High speed on at 228. When I said fans on at 228, that is when I hear them come on according to my digital temp gauge. So, that must be them coming on "high". On low you can't hear them running.
I was looking everywhere in the cooling section (pages 6-157 through 6-207) and couldn't find that
Thanks again, and I apologize if my original number was slightly off
The point I was agreeing to, for the most part, was that you and others were making the OP aware of the C4s normal operating temps and trying to be sure whether he really had an overheating problem, or not. It was in THAT post that I let him know that his car didn't have a fan switch. The "
" was mostly, just along for the ride and to help keep things friendly and light. Failed again! RACE ON!!!

Maybe next time you'll know better than to agree with anyone!
