Default Tail Light Lens Removal

Sorry for such a dumb question, but I'm selling my daughter's 89 Vert and need to change the inner right side tail light bulb, and can't get the lens off. Do they pop off, unscrew, or ?? I really don't want to force it one way or the other - thanks in advance.

Taking the lens off is not the answer, unfortunately.

You'll have to reach in there underneath the car and twist the socket out of the housing to change the bulb. (At least for the outboard lens, the inner might be better accessed through the license plate area).

If you take of the license plate you should be able to reach the light socket and remove it from the back.
