Default Using Auto X-Ray

I purchased Auto X-Ray. So far I have found that the throttle is only opening 90%. Also the TPS is reading .60volts closed and 3.54 volts wide open. (90%)
Where can I find info on what the different readings should be. IE oxygen sensors etc. Thanks for your help.

sorry I should have posted it here for you.

You should be getting over 4volts @wot and 99% throttle opening.
How were you opening the throttle? If you were pressing down on the accelerator with your foot sometimes the floor mat or carpeting can be bunched up under the pedal and can prevent the throttle from fully opening. Get under the hood with the Autoxray (key on engine off) and open the throttle as far as it will go using your hand, that should give you an idea whether or not that is the problem.
WOT TPS voltage is more important than closed throttle.

If you can't get the TPS over 4v @ wot, check to see if the cable and/or throttle body is binding.
Otherwise you may want to try replacing the TPS.

Default Re: Using Auto X-Ray (nickd)

Nickd,
Thanks for your response. I pulled the mat back, tried again, got 99% but only 3.84 volts. Tried under the hood and got 99% and 4.05 volts. Im gonna have to check the throttle cables. I need to buy a inch pound torque wrench to set that thing right. I have the factory service manual. Its going to take some time to figure out the specs and what they mean.
