Default Need hardware list for hard top install

I'm looking at a hard top for my 92 vert. It's off a 91 and I need to know what hardware is needed for the install. Does any one have their top still installed? I'd love to see some pictures of the brackets with the top installed. A list of the screws or bolts needed would help me see if this guy has all the hardware. I assume they are specialty bolts and screws. My plan is to drive to his house (about 400miles) and install the top and drive back home. I'd hate to get there and not enough hardware. Thanks guys

Here's a pic from driverside.

You need two mirror imaged bracket and 10 bolts/washers for the mount behind the seats. Art's has pics of most of the parts. A few years ago he had the parts but now it looks like the parts are drying up.

Here's some shots of my car, it's hard for me to get a good shot with the roof on.

Pics were driver's side pax is the same with exception of mirror image bracket.

Good luck.

Thank you for the shots. Between you and the Green Hornet I'm being able to put together some photos and list of hardware for my nephew to look at a top for me up in VA. If all goes well I'll drive up there and install it and drive home. Thanks again.

BTW, how does the top attach to the front? Just two bolts?

The removable hardtop attaches to the windshield with two bolts that should be "floating" in the windshield area where the convertible top latches to the windshield. These bolts fasten to the hardtop. You will need the Torx wrench to tighten them. Also, the hardtop should have two bolts that slide into the rear deck brackets for the vert top. Need a wrench for them also. You can get one at Sears for $7. If the seller does not have all of the bolts that attach the top to the brackets, you can get by with several until you can purchase from Chevy or one of the parts vendors. They ARE expensive! Also, check the hardtop defroster lead wires and find the ones on your vert behind the pillars, maybe under the carpet. There are several posts in the C4 tech section on how to install the hardtop. Don't tighten any bolt until all are started. Also, don't tighten any bolts on the pillars as it is best to have them loose as you fit the top onto the car. Love my hardtop, but prefer to ride with top down best. Also, check the used hardtop's weather stripping. If you have to replace it, the cost of weatherstripping is high. Enjoy the hardtop.

Thank you very much. Yes I do have the "floating Screws" in my wind shield trim. All I need is the brackets and bolts to attach them to the B-pillars. The rear pins or bolts that slip into the guide holes should be attached to the top. It's becoming very clear.

Do you think I can drive it 400 plus miles without the rear pins and with everything else connected?
