throttle stuck

throttle stuck
had the hub bearings redone last week, drove the 84 home, went to go to dinner sunday and when i started the car it sounded like the throttle was wide open, shut' er down and tried again same thing sounding like i was doing 150. any clues as to what i should look for and no, the gas pedal wasn't stuck

Suggest you open you hood and examine the cables attached to the throttle body butterfly. Open and close this with your hand to make sure the rod turns properly in a clockwise rotation to the stop on the TB. Examine the electrical connections on the TPS and MAF. Make sure all vac lines are attached to the TB. This should be an easy problem to solve.
