Default injector question

I currently have 30# Accell injectors on my 383 LT1 and had the pcm tuned. I am swapping to 30# Ford Motorsports injectors. I was told that I would need to have the PCM retuned. What will they change in the PCM? Sorry for such newbie question just curious why I need a retune for just swapping brand of injectors.

if the injectors are the same flow rate, and the resistance is the same on the coil, I would stick em in, and let it go. sounds like you are dealing with apples to apples.

There should be no difference, if the flow rate and ohm readings on the injectors are the same

if you ask me YES,

but I don't believe in "retune", it is just how well tuned it is on the day moment... your are never really done tuning

It shouldn't need any changes. See how it runs with the Fords.

If the flow rate of #30 is at a different PSI for the new injectors, you may need to re-tune.

Or just adjust the fuel pressure.
