Default negative cable and ground strap???
I know this is probally a no brainer but I can't find the answer anywhere :-(

Where does the negative battery cable and ground strap go on the block?

Negative battery cable goes to the starter and ground goes to a bolt location above the oil filter area.

I don't think it will even come close to that. The cable (factory) is only 2.5-3 feet long.

Forgot to add it's an 85 car.
