Hardtop question

The GM hardtops, are the tops all the same from 89-96? I have a 92 vert and I need to know that a 90 will fit or not. Any help out there?

Hi, I can answer this because I have one. GM's hard tops ONLY fit from 89 on up WITHOUT modifications. 86,87 and 88 need extra brackets to fit which are no longer available ANYWHERE.

There is a company that makes NON GM hardtops for the earlier C4 verts in PA somewhere http://www.smoothline.com/ I eventually bought my hard top from them and had them install black haartz top on it. Looks very nice but I haven't used it in Ohhhh 5 years ???

The top you speak of will DEFINITELY fit :-)

Thanks guys. I guess I'll make the trip up to VA and buy it, install it and drive it home. Murphy's Law always tries to spoil my projects. I'm just trying to out smart Murphy.
