switching ECMs
Just wondering how many C4 owners have switched ecms on early year Corvettes for performance reasons. My 84 has a ecm from what I believe is a 305 Camaro(1228746). I have also been told the performance gains may not be worth it since it will cause you car to run rich or lean and throw codes. This maybe be the reason I have been having trouble since day one of driving my 84. The car runs flawless, but you may have to keep looking at a check engine light.Just wondering if others have had the same problem who have made such modifications?

yes codes 44 (lean) and 13 (02 sensor). I believe its because the ecm being to a 305 cant compensate for the fuel of the 350.Since I'm new at this stuff I'm trying to learn how to correct the condition without ripping apart all the work the previous owner has done apart because he has gotten to the to run well, its just the light and the fuel smell you get often.Of course changing the 02 sensor did nothing.
