Hi, I am posting a thread for my father JAKE. I am sure most of you have heard of him. He is asking how can he wire an torque converter lock-up so that he can manually turn it off and on?

Hey, guys, need some advice. This is JAKE using my son's Screen name (rather than starting a new thread.)
I'm trying to wire my trans so that I can manually control the torque converter lock-up feature from the dash. I need to know which wire I can splice into to do this.
I know there's a kit or plug in that I can buy to do it, but I was hoping to be able to accomplish the same thing for a lot less money.
BTW, I'm in the process for relocating from IL to TX, so I don't have computer access regularly for right now. I should be back on-line regularly in a week or so.
