which is best?

hey fairly simple question... which was the best engine put into the c4's?

Well, lets see.............

L98 guys are gonna say: L98 because of the torque
LT1 guys are gonna say: LT1 because of the higher power band
LT4 guys are gonna say: LT4 because of the extra hp

And the ZR1 guys are gonna say: ZR1, because of all of above

Is one better than the others? It depends of what your going to use it for. They are all very good engines for their time.

well...the LT-5 in the ZR-1 was the most powerful, but it would also be a possible maintinence nightmare, as they are really rare. I'd say the LT-4, in the 1996 manual vettes.

i would say lt5 yet i believe they are expensive to keep maintained, i would have to say that the lt4 would be the best bang for the buck
