I have a 1991 corvette conv with 15,300 miles and my motor blew. Just a string of bad luck for me the past year. Always walking back. I need to buy and engine to replace this one. Any input on what high perf I could use and where is the best place $ wise to get it??? Thanks, Jon
When you say the motor "blew", what exactly do you mean?
Did it explode from a nitrous explosion or did it seize a bearing, or a head gasket let go or.....?
Who diagnosed it?
Just for info purposes. I bought a ZZ4 crate motor and have been racing it in ST2 NASA with no problems. Has around 40 hrs. all above 3000 RPM. I use nothing but Mobil 1.
