Cause what exactly? The oil on the threads is from an external source. The plug looks pretty new, has good sharp corners. That dark shadow just looks like it hasn't ran long enough to burn off the extra fuel the from last cold start to me. The spark probably originates from the cleaner looking area on the plug. I don't think there's anything there that needs correcting. That's my SWAG anyway.
The plug has about 500mi. on it. They all look like that. I get the dark pattern on the one side of the tip in like a day. The valve seals are good. No cloud of smoke on start up.

Spark looks like it might be a tad weak...how does your cap/rotor look? Any dusting from ionization, or
blackened contacts on your cap, or pitting on teh rotor? How about teh carbon brush? Wires good-not
stiff? Check ohm resistance on teh wires....
I don't think I'd be concerned...at this point, plug looks pretty good, but I'd probably pull one after 5000, just to make sure I wasn't getting oil fouled. Here's a good site for you to take a look at.
