Default Code F'n 33 I hate it.

I payed 600 (completely new maf sensor) bucks to have this freaking thing fixed. But no, it pops back up again. Same symptoms and everything. Lack of power, and complete bog down when pedal pushed more then 1/8th the way in.

Did they change the two relays and clean the TB while they were in there?

Change the Mass Air Flow Sensor burn off relays. They are a cheap fix. Also you could have gotten a defective air flow sensor. Change the relays and clear the code.

I changed the 2 Relays at the same time the MAF was replaced., but the TB has not been cleaned.

I also have a really ROUGH/Cycling idle. Do you think these 2 problems are connected?

Carbon build up on the TB/IAC?

Cleaning the TB is one of GM's steps in diagnoising a code 33... pay particular attention to the back side of the throttle plates

Code 33 can be a high voltage on the wire..
Did you check that to determine the wire was good and the ecm was fine?

A larger Throttle body can also set this code and will run rough.
The minimum air speed screw and TPS out of adjustment can set this code too then run rough as well.
33 is also an "unrealistic amount of airflow into the intake".
Check the TPS,min. air setting and possible carbon build up.
:)

Don't rule out a bad computer for a code 33.

After replacing the 2 relays and MAF sensor, I would check on the computer.

A remanufactured one is about $100.

Had the same deal with my 85 (way back in 89). The car would bog down, cough, stall, backfire, and die. the ECM was the culprit.
