which direction does your fan rotate...
I just replaced my radiator fan, and in the process, when I disconnected the fan, the plastic connector just fell apart. I crimped on some new spade connectors, and re-connected the wiring....now the question, the fan works as it should, but I'm wondering if, as with some motors, you connect the leads one way, the fan rotates counter-clockwise, and if you reverse the leads, it rotates clockwise? If so, what is the correct rotation of the fan? New fan works great, just want to make sure it's connected correctly.....this is on an 85 with a single fan...

It has to draw air inwards in order to cool the system properly.
If you're in doubt, hold a sheet of notebook paper in front of your condenser. If it sticks to the condenser, it's rotating in the right direction.
If it blows the paper away, it's running backwards and you risk serious temperature-related damage to your engine if you continue to let it do so.
