Default Help diagnosing a n2o problem.

I'll explain best I can...then give my possible theory.

My buddy has a similar system...when he purges, he immediately gets a nice flow through the system...perfect white blast.

When I purge...it takes a few seconds to get the visible stream...and even when, it does not seem as powerful of a blast. Then, after sitting for a few minutes, it will require ANOTHER few seconds to get a visible stream...like it's dying in the line, and just hasn't got the power of the blast that purges out of my friends system.

NOS brand 15lb. tank is mounted label up...slightly upward at the nozzle end.

Could the pick-up tube in the tank be dislodged? If so, can I tell by shaking the tank? If not, what would be a possible solution to my problem?

The tubes are screwed in and have thread seal on them.I haven't seen one come lose unless someone has been playing with it.
Your threaded part where the hose attaches has to be pointing to the ground. The nozzle has to be pointed streight down not to the side.
The tube is angeled down inside the bottle and will not pick up the nitrous if turned.YOu need to weight the bottle to see if you have enough nitrous in or all you will get is gass out the purge, not white nitrous. If you have to purge it that long I would say the tank is low.
Always weigh the tank .

this happens even after a new fill. My tank and nozzle appear to all be mounted right. We plan to switch tanks and see what happens then.

I may investigate further on the mention of the solenoid.
