Solar Battery Chargers?
I recently retired the corvette from DD duty, and I want to put a solar battery charger on it to keep the battery full for when I do drive it. It's parked outside, in a pretty safe spot with lots of sun.
Would something like this work? Is there a particular one that you have had success with?

I like this one because it plugs into the cigarette lighter to charge, but they suggest using a charge controller as well. Does Summit sell one? I haven't been able to find one.

Been using a similar type for years. I bought a couple of the types used in VWs during transport and storage. The '84 ECM seems to like to run the battery down (I'm using a smaller lighter battery). Works well for me, and the price was reasonable.
