Lights on chime.... ?
I just got a 93 coupe and if I leave my lights on when I shut off and leave the car should'nt there be a warning chime ????? I get silence..... thanks all

The chime is bad. I changed mine as well as some other people on the forum. It is a major PITA to change. I did mine one afternoon. You have to pull the radio, info panel, and reach your hand up behind the heater vent in the center of the dash. It looks abou the size of a pager. Unplug it, hook up the new one and you are ready to go. It is not as easy as it sounds though.:)

I must have did something wrong. I also have no chime, and pulled my radio (mainly because it was defective), pulled the info center, but couldn't for the life of me feel the tone generator (official GM name). The service manual says you have to pull the entire dash (eek!).
