Hypertech on Another Car?
I am looking to buy a Hypertech Programmer + from a member in the for-sale area. I'm not sure if it can be used on another vehichle because of the VIN lockout.
From what I've read, you can use it on a 2nd car if you return it back to factory specs on the 1st car.
He called Hypertech to ask and they told him it is only for one car. Were they just feeding him
or not?

I have heard hypertech is junk, don't waste your money. It doesn't really do much, especially for how much it costs.
Get yourself a cheap laptop, tuning software and cables and learn to tune it yourself.
