Default Where to get headers?

I'm leaning towards getting new headers for my car. I currently have LPE Stainless Steel 1 5/8" and want to get 1 3/4 but not stainless steel. Anyone running 1 3/4 and did you get them coated? Anyone recommend a company.

LPE is no longer offering headers for a C4 so once I got a new pair I would sell my current ones. Anyone intrested?

I'm interested in those LPE's. Let me know when you decide to sell them.

I have TPiS, coated by jethot.

Had them for a couple years now, no issues with coating coming off.

Sorry about that by the time it got back the post was moved. Earlier i spoke of the MELROSE system you can get it any way you want and with or without JETHOT(IMO only way to go). Price will range from what you want to buy. Great quality and fit finish isGREAT . The complete system no/air,cats,egr, and a x-pipe REAL duals was about 1200 well worth the $. Great people to deal with and talk on the phone for some fitment answers.

Why change?

A lot of trouble for a 3 hp average gain. I also have 1 5/8" LPE headers.

This article always comes up in these kind of threads, so here goes:

http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/te...out/index.html

The results are a bit screwy, but the LPEs with their rather long and equal length 1 5/8" tubes should remain to be a desireable header.

Note: For others looking for LPEs, the Stainless Works 1 5/8" headers appear to be just like the LPE design with the same style flanges, tubes, fittings, 2 1/2" stepped collectors, 304 SS, etc. They may be the same for all I know.
