1991 outside window seal
Hi does anyone have experience changing the outside rubber window seal on a 91 vette. I have little mechanical experience and dont want to get in over my head.

Outside Window Seal
I bought a set from Ecklers and the installation was fairly easy. Make sure the wire connections are clean when you reconnect them. The seal was held on with screws. I didn't need the pop rivets that came with the new seals. Also, it's a good time to lube the window track and door lock linkage.

replacing the rubber, more advice? 92 C4
Mine especially around the back edge of the window where it's thick, is really eaten up by sun and now at the car wash I get a free ear wash every trip. Not so good. Did you do this, any advice, where did you buy your stuff? I'm happy with Ecklers generally so would probably use their parts.

by ouside are you refering to the strip that is attached to the inside of the door that "scapes" at the bottom outside of the window? or as others refered to the inside weather strips??
