Brakes fluid ?
Please help me with this :
I have a lot of problem with the poor braking of my car !
Yes, I know that exist a lot of kit (zr1,etc), maybe later.
At now my system is original.
When I brake hard and constantly the cover of my brake pump jumps and the pedal goes to the floor !
I believe that the fluid brakes that I use is very poor, but I tried a lot of brands with the same result. ( the gm fluid is not good )
Which is good ?
Maybe in my country do not exist but I can import a box.

i dont think thats exactly a brake fluid problem. Sounds more like booster or master cylinder.

Normally, when the fluid goes dark it is sign to change it-has foreign particles in it and water(mainly water). The fronts get more abuse than the rear so may be the difference.
Unless you are really pushing your brakes on the track for long periods-I think you would be best to simply change the fluid regularly-yearly? and use what is available. I did similarly and use cheap Kmart Valvoline SynPower fluid (DOT 4). Never boiled the brakes but I did crack the front rotors!

Que paso paisa. Milagro un miembro en Mexico. Echame un grito cuando quieras. Sounds like a master cylinder to me. It happended to me long time ago, but it is very easy and very fast to fix. Condition of hoses? Any leaks or moist/soaked hoses? Wheel cylinders bleeder screws torqued down to spec? I like to use dot 4 fluid. Be careful with the high performance driving/braking until you fix this. -Saludos (-Pablo) :cheers:

The car brakes but after a time of hard braking the fluid boil and the cover of the brake pump jumps.
I use diferent brake fluids, but I have the same problem. The best that I use is the bmw (dot 4).
Which dot is the adequate ?
