Default 1990 Tachometer
My tachometer infrequently does not work or it jumps between 0 and whatever rpms I am running. I have been told it might be the tach filter. Where is it located? How do I identify it? Is there a test to determine of this is the problem? If it makes a difference this is a 6 spd manual.

My '90 under a quick acceleration will flop from 0 to all the way past top of the redline. Does it sound like this filter is the thing to do?
