C4 emergency brake

C4 emergency brake

I am considering putting C4 rear disks on a first gen camaro, but am not sure how the emergency brake is set up. Can anyone help me with exactly how the setup works? Is it part of the caliper, or a seperate drum? Thanks for your help.

it depends what year you get the rear rotors some came with a drum e brake with seperate shoes for the in side of your rotor mine has operated by the caliper i think its easier.

I just put '94 calipers and rotors up front, so I would like to be consistent. What is the arrangement for a '94? Thanks.

The '94's have the emergency brake activate the caliper on the disk. They do not have that little integral drum.
