Clutch fork question.....
I have a 94 LT1 6 speed with 90K. I am collecting all the parts needed to install a new flywheel, clutch, p-plate next week. I just replaced the slave cylinder AGAIN as the old one (which was only about 18 months old) was leaking. On the advise of a customer that owns a 96 LT4 6 speed, he says to replace the release fork and/or bushings. He says these bend pretty easy and could be a cause of the very,very small amount of pedal travel and chatter I have for engagment/disengagement. I just happen to have one for a ZR-1. Are the ZR-1 and LTx forks the same? Do you think I should replace it also?
