Replace vacuum line from cruise control

Default Replace vacuum line from cruise control
I want to replace the vacuum line in my 89 coupe. The vacuum line from the cruise control into the car just under the brake booster is rotting. Can anyone tell be the best way to get at the line, where it runs to, and any suggestions/tips.

Yes, goes through firewall then directly to brake release switch.
