Code 12 "Service Ride Control"

Code 12 "Service Ride Control"
For awhile now the service ride control light has been on in the Vette, and i scanned it and it came up with a code 12. Anybody know what this means? From what i have read, it may be a bad actuator on the shock (i have the FX3 adjustable susp).
I found a company that rebuilds them but it is still pricey. Are stock ones even more expensive? I guess ya gotta pay when ya own a vette
