My AC just went out again, it was blowing cold, then just randomly started coming out hot, I replaced my compressor because it went out, so I replaced the dryer and orphice tube as well, should I now replace my condensor? how do I know if it went out?
My A.C wasnt blowing cold and the guy put in I believe it was called "Red Angels" or something similar to stop the leak and put in the freon and its ice cold now! Maybe you have a leak somewhere.
Is the mag-clutch engageing the compressor? I had an electical fault that prevented the relay from closing and alowing the compressor to start. I chased the problem to the ECU and decided rather than screw with it I simply re-wired the relay for two coincidance operation 1 on the pressure cycling switch and another series toggle switch to turn the AC on or off. since I never drive the car in the winter the switch stays on all the time.
One last thing check the refrigerant pressure if its too low then the press cycling switch won't close and the compressor will never start.
Above - stop leak rarely works and simply plugs it up - plug it up bad enough and you're starting over. Repost when you know if there are any trouble codes. Otherwise, this could be as simple as a loose connection at the Low Pressure Switch.
If you are low on refrigerant add dye to the system to find the leak and/or use an electronic sniffer to leak check your system.
You have to have enough refrigerant in the system for the compressor to come on to circulate the dye throughout the system.
