Default Exhuast system help

I want to order all of my parts from one place, does anyone know a place with great deals? I obviously want to get rid of my pre cats, the state I am registered in has no emissions law, but I am living in MD (they do) so would a shop here put on an exhaust without the cat or do I have to go with a high flow? What all would you recommend for a true dual exuast system, and where can I get it? Noise is not an issue.
Thanks!

I'd recommend a Magnaflow catback from www.performancepeddler.com

http://www.performancepeddler.com/SC...RVETTE&sCtrl=Y

Call them & tell them you are a forum member and they'll drop the price even more. Great product w/ great looks & great sound at a great price.

FWIW..you can get some Magnaflow hi-flow cats from them as well.

If a shop gets caught removing a cat and replacing it with straight pipe, the Feds can hit them with up to a $10,000 fine. In most cases, even removing a perfectly good cat and replacing it with a aftermarket one can result in fines. The emissions-related laws where the shop is located apply without regard to what license plates are on the car.

Corvette Central (a CF vendor) has a true dual system for your car. The pipes bolt to the manifolds and there is a bung for the O2 sensor. Then you just bolt your choice of year-specific mufflers in place. They are a bolt-in and even come with an H-pipe and factory hanger brackets.

But I would not run the car without cats. Even the aftermarket high-flow cats help keep the air clean and still allow for excellent exhaust flow. But keep in mind that there is limited space behind the flywheel for installing aftermarket cats.

Some aftermarket cats are about the size of the factory pre-cats and they could be installed at that location.

I have found that www.corvettecentral.com seems to have a wide selection of exhaust components at good prices. Their price for a complete true dual system is the best I have seen.

I have Magnaflows, Corsa L98 rear Y pipe, and 2 Dynomax bullet mufflers for sale if interested.

Hey from a fellow Marylander. The twin cats on your car don't restrict the HP that much, and you'd have to do some serious mods to really notice a difference. If you're looking for a really sweet sounding system get the Corvette Central chambered cat-back. On a stock motor the sound is amazing.

I looked at corvette central's chambered exhaust. Only for 92s up. I like the true dual, though.

Its expensive, but Im running the 3 inch stainless B&B Tri-Flo, and I love it. Deep idle, but not too loud, doesnt wake up the neighbors when I come home late, but sounds terrific when you let it loose.

Just my 2c
